Extending the Lifespan of Lithium Batteries
Since the battery is the most expensive component of an electric bicycle, it is also the part that requires special attention. Proper battery storage is crucial for safety and extending the battery's lifespan. Batteries naturally degrade over time with regular use. Storing the battery in extreme temperatures or improper charge states can accelerate its decline. Napune's batteries are lithium-ion batteries, so please avoid storing the battery until it is completely drained. If the battery is fully discharged and left unused for an extended period, it may enter a dormant state that cannot be revived. The ideal storage environment for the battery is a temperature-controlled indoor space, with the battery's charge level maintained between 75% and 80%. Check the battery's charge level monthly, ensuring it doesn't drop below 75%. This will help prolong the battery's lifespan. Do not store the battery on the charger or connected to the electric bike.
