Limitation Terms
New products purchased directly from NAPUNE (hereinafter referred to as "Products"), free from material and workmanship defects (hereinafter referred to as "Manufacturing Defects"), are covered by a 2-year warranty period (hereinafter referred to as the "Warranty Period") starting from the date of delivery. Any parts replaced during the warranty period will be covered by the applicable remaining Warranty Period.
Non-transferable
This warranty is non-transferable and is only valid for the original retail purchaser (hereinafter referred to as "Customer"). The Customer must provide the original transaction information when making a warranty claim.
Warranty Coverage
As part of the new product warranty, NAPUNE will offer free replacement of defective parts/components and cover shipping costs within 30 days of purchase. After 30 days, the Customer will be responsible for all return shipping costs. This warranty applies to products, parts, and components purchased directly from NAPUNE. The following parts are covered under this warranty:
- Drive unit
- Battery
- Mechanical parts
- Frame
- Electrical components
Shipping Damage Claims
Customers must immediately inspect products for any damage upon receipt. Due to strict time requirements for shipping damage claims, NAPUNE will not accept claims for shipping damage if reported more than 15 days after the Customer receives the product. Any damage must be noted on the bill of lading before accepting the goods, and photographs of the damaged areas with dates should be taken when possible. Additionally, Customers should retain all packaging and related documents until the inspection is complete.
Shipping damage must be reported to NAPUNE within 15 days of delivery. Please contact the customer support team for instructions on returns or replacements.
Exclusions from Warranty Coverage
This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear of the product. Additionally, any damage caused by misuse or neglect of the product by the Customer is not covered under this warranty. For example:
- Use in races or competitions, modification of original parts, excessive stress
- Water damage
- Improper maintenance or use of non-NAPUNE approved accessories
- Use of lubricants unsuitable for electric bicycles
- Damage caused by accidents, collisions, road hazards, or use on non-traditional surfaces (e.g., stairs)
- Damage caused by external factors (e.g., salt mist, bird droppings, or chemicals)
- Commercial use, such as transporting goods, food delivery, exceeding 1500 miles of mileage, or power consumption higher than 35Wh/mile, or rental use
- Temporary decrease in battery performance due to environmental conditions (e.g., temperature, load, gradients, frequent starts and stops)
- Natural decline in battery capacity to 50% or more of its original capacity within the warranty period, with no more than 200 charge cycles
- Natural fading of paint or plating surfaces, normal tire cracking, etc.
Any non-warranty repairs conducted simultaneously with warranty repairs will incur normal parts/labor costs.
Warranty Voidance
The warranty will be voided in the following situations:
- The product is lent, rented, or used for commercial purposes
- Damage caused by using third-party chargers
- Loss or damage caused by the Customer arranging shipping or using forwarding services
- Unauthorized modifications to the product by the Customer
- Damage caused by adding non-original or incompatible parts
- Damage caused by weather, excessive wear, improper maintenance (e.g., completely discharging the battery during winter storage)
- Opening, modifying, or disassembling electrical components
- Unauthorized repairs or disassembly by any party other than NAPUNE
- Damage caused by improper adjustments or maintenance
Disclaimer
This warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty and replaces any other warranties of any kind. NAPUNE does not provide any other form of warranty, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Some jurisdictions may limit the scope of warranty terms or disclaimers, and this warranty provides specific legal rights to the Customer, which may vary by region.
Customer Responsibilities
The Customer must operate, maintain, and store the product correctly as outlined in the user manual and notify NAPUNE within 15 days of discovering any defects. When submitting a warranty claim, the Customer must provide specific evidence of the defect, including photos. Failure to provide required information may result in the rejection of the warranty claim.
NAPUNE is not responsible for providing packaging materials needed for returns.
If there is a suspected defect with the product, do not attempt repairs on your own. Contact NAPUNE directly; otherwise, the warranty may be voided, and further damage, including safety risks, may occur.
